RiverTown is a 4,170-acre master-planned community located in the northwest part of St. Johns County, Fla.  Located on approximately 3.5 miles of the St. Johns River, RiverTown has been designed with a vibrant and diverse mix of uses and a walkable residential community with strong ties to the river. The community will reflect great Southern neighborhoods of year’s past with traditional architecture, pedestrian friendly tree-lined streets, connected neighborhoods and parks, plazas, vistas and recreational amenities.  More than two miles of walking trails in Phase I will connect each neighborhood in RiverTown and will surround the community’s lakes and parks, including the Riverfront Park.

Homes at RiverTown will include features found in the architectural styles of American Farmhouse, Arts & Crafts, Colonial/Classic Revival, Southern Vernacular and Mediterranean styles. Many of the homes will feature large front porches, deep-roof overhangs, columns and unique building materials consistent with each homes’ architectural style.

RiverTown has recently begun site work on its community amenity center. The amenity center, which will feature a social club, fitness center, competition pool, fun pool, tennis courts and playfields, is expected to be completed in early 2012.

Construction has also commenced on the signature Riverfront Park along approximately one mile of the community’s river frontage and will be available for RiverTown residents to use and enjoy later this year. It has been master planned with more than 50 acres of natural area, a community dock, fishing pier and waterfront overlook areas. Jogging and walking trails and a central event lawn with views to the community’s main entrance and the RiverHouse are also being constructed.
